When I have a day off, I frequently do a day trip to an area near the  Tri-Cities, WA.   One of my favorite places to visit is the Blue Mountains in Oregon.  Walla Walla WA is about 50 minutes from the Tri-Cities and is adjacent to the Blue Mountain foothills.  When  I take a trip and the seasons change, I see different vegetation and wildlife.   Deer and wild  turkeys are in abundance.  Sometimes I see a bear.   The Tri-Cities is a desert area and within a short period one can be at a mountain lake surrounded by a forest.   This video shows a Sunday trip to Milton Freewater, the Blue Mountains and returning via Dayton WA.
