I have reported that there seems to be a shortage on homes under $150,000. I thought it would be interesting to see what a new home costs in the various cities. In Kennewick one can purchase a narrow cottage home in Hanson Park (1232 sq ft) for $145,900; In Richland, Soundbuilt has homes adjacent to the freeway for $131,990 (1288 sq ft); In Pasco, a Hayden home can be ordered for $120,275 (1148 sq ft) and West Richland, Hayden is building a 1550 sq ft home for $167,750. Clearly, Hayden Homes has captured the lower price new home market.
